GETTING TO THE FLIP FACTORY

Address: Bays 1 & 2, 4500 - 5 Street NE, Calgary 

The Flip Factory is in Pockar Park in the Greenview Industrial Park.  We face onto Edmonton Trail and are between McKnight Blvd. and the 32 Ave. Connector.  You need to come in from the 32 Avenue Connector (*note: 32nd Ave Connector is actually 41st Ave.)

If you are coming via the Deerfoot take the 32 Ave. NE exit.  Go west on 32 Ave. The road curves around, you will pass the city bus barns on your right, keep going. There is a light at 6 St NE, turn north onto 6 St. NE, go through the 3 way stop, turn left onto 42 Ave. NE, 42 Ave. will curve sharply and turn into 5 St. NE.  You will pass a SAIT sign and building, you will pass a building with Jim Bows Archery on it, we are in the 3rd building that you come to.  You can park in front of the building (6 stalls), at the back (14 stalls) or drive right through the front parking and enter onto 5 St. again facing south. Unlimited parking on the west side of 5 St. NE.

If you are coming via 16 Avenue North turn northbound onto Edmonton Trail.  Go north until you get to the 32 Avenue Connector (Totem Lumber will be on the corner), turn east (away from Totem) onto 32 Ave. Connector, turn north onto 6 St. NE, go through the 3 way stop, turn left onto 42 Ave. NE, 42 Ave. will curve sharply and turn into 5 St. NE.  You will pass a SAIT sign and building, you will pass a building with Jim Bows Archery on it, we are in the 3rd building that you come to.  You can park in the front (6 stalls), at the back (14 stalls) or drive right through the front parking and enter onto 5 St. again facing south.  Unlimited parking on the west side of 5 St. NE.

If you are coming via John Laurie Blvd. or 14 Street continue going eastbound on John Laurie Blvd., John Laurie will turn into McKnight Blvd., turn right (south) onto Edmonton Trail, turn left (east) onto 32 Avenue Connector (Totem Lumber will be on the corner, you will turn away from Totem), turn north onto 6 St. NE, go through the 3 way stop, turn left onto 42 Ave. NE, 42 Ave. will curve sharply and turn into 5 St. NE.  You will pass a SAIT sign and building, you will pass a building with Jim Bows Archery on it, we are in the 3rd building that you come to.  You can park in the front (6 stalls), at the back (14 stalls) or drive right through the front parking and enter onto 5 St. again facing south.  Unlimited parking on the west side of 5 St. NE.

If you are coming via Centre Street turn east onto 41 Avenue, this road curves and goes down the hill past the Centre St. Church, this road crosses Edmonton Trail and turns into the 32 Avenue Connector, turn north onto 6 St. NE, go through the 3 way stop, turn left onto 42 Ave. NE, 42 Ave. will curve sharply and turn into 5 St. NE. You will pass a SAIT sign and building, you will pass a building with Jim Bows Archery on it, we are in the 3rd building that you come to.  You can park in the front (6 stalls), at the back (14 stalls) or drive right through the front parking and enter onto 5 St. again facing south.  Unlimited parking on the west side of 5 St. NE.

If you are coming by City Transit take either the #4, 5, 72 or 73.  Get off as close to Edmonton Trail and the 32 Avenue Connector as possible.  There is a bike path along the east side of Nose Creek, best to access this path from the bridge that is at the corner of the 32 Ave. Connector and Edmonton Tr. across from Totem Lumber. Follow the bike path north past the building with the SAIT sign, past the building with Jim Bow's Archery on it, we are in the 3rd building.  The bike path is plowed in the winter.
