CanGym Gymnastics

CanGym is a nationally recognized badge program for gymnastics. Boys and girls focus on learning skills using the vault, bars, beams, floor exercise, rings and trampolines. Approximately 60 skills are presented in each level with the program covering 14 levels. CanGym can accommodate the beginner through to the advanced recreational gymnast.

Flip Factory’s CanGym classes are of mixed levels for boys and girls. Each participant is encouraged to work to their full potential.

For your child’s safety and comfort please consider the following:

• long hair must be tied back
• no jewelry or large hair bobbles
• wear shorts or pants that stretch and do not have zippers, buckles, buttons or belts
• wear a t-shirt or sweat top that will not slide over your child’s head when they are upside down; tighter fitting is better
• bare feet are best, thin rubber soled gym slippers or non-slip, tight fitting slippers are okay
• layer clothing, especially in the colder months
• bring a water bottle
• children are not permitted on the equipment before the class starts or after the class has finished
• children will be instructed to sit in the viewing area inside the gym if a parent is late for pick-up
