Pre-school Gymnastics

Developing good exercise habits at an early age will benefit your child for a lifetime. The key is to keep physical activity fun and interesting. Each week at the Flip Factory, your child will be transported to a magical place: The African Savannah, a medieval castle, under the sea. . . . the possibilities are limitless! Elaborate themes with props, music and ever changing circuits keep each week new and captivating for kids and parents alike.

Each child is encouraged to work to the best of their ability. New skills and sequences are introduced when a child is ready to move on. Classes are of mixed levels and can accommodate beginners through to experienced youngsters.

Children under 3 ½ years are required to have a parent or guardian with them at all times. Parent participation for children 3 ½ - 5 years is optional. Parents and caregivers are always welcome to watch from the viewing area.

For your child’s safety and comfort, please consider the following:

• be on time for all classes
• long hair must be tied back
• no jewelry or large hair bobbles
• wear shorts or pants that stretch and do not have zippers, buckles, buttons or belts
• wear a t-shirt or sweat top that will not slide over your child’s head when they are upside down; tighter fitting is better
• bare feet are best
• layer clothing, especially in the colder months
• bring a water bottle
• children are not permitted on the equipment before the class starts or after the class has finished
• children will be instructed to sit in the viewing area inside the gym if a parent is late for pick-up
